About Me
Hi. I'm Rebecca. I've worked in the government sector, with non-profits, and have been involved with a variety of art and interfaith community groups. I'm really good at looking at the large picture and then narrowing in to the fine details. I like to create things that are beautiful.
Rebecca Bateman wishes she had a hundred lives to do a thousand things. She dabbles in cooking, gardening, literature, writing, stained-glass work, sewing, and foreign languages. She was the executive director for LDS Earth Stewardship, staff for the Utah House of Representatives, an organizer of the 2015 Parliament of the World’s Religions, a member of the Salt Lake Interfaith Roundtable, a board member of the Golden Rule Project, and a mentor to a refugee family. She recently spent a year as the Community Relations Director for the Becky Edwards for US Senate campaign. She wants to help create a peaceful world and visit every part of it.
